Changing the registry to add/modify a few keys (first page of google had 2 or 3 of these to try, none of them did anything). The Windows Spotlight is a feature in Windows 10, that automatically changes the background image on the Lock Screen. One source said that may fix the slideshow.Ĥ. Deleting all of the settings for Windows Spotlight. Has anyone got a solution? Things I have tried:ġ. Now the lock screen is stuck on that one image and won't change at all. I did that, restarted, then set the lock screen back to slideshow and reset again. I googled the issue, and found things saying to first set the Lock Screen Background to be a single image from the folder you want the slidehow to cycle. But when I hit enter to get to the login screen, it showed the default rock in the ocean image. When Windows booted, it showed me one of the images in the slideshow. I selected the folder I wanted and deselcted "Only use pictures that fit my screen" under advanced settings. Then I went into Personaliation>Lock Screen, and set the background to Slideshow. The pictures are all the correct resolution for my screen, and are all either JPG or PNG images. I set up a folder under C:/User/Pictures that I called LoginScreen and filled it with several pictures. I am the only user on the computer, there is only one account. i've tried everything I can think of, and gone through about a dozen guides online, and it seems the issue is either different than before or the old fixes just don't work. i've run into a problem with the Lock Screen Slideshow that I can't seem to resolve at all, and I'm totally at a loss as to what to do now. I just finished a new PC build, and when I booted up Windows I set up all of my personalization stuff. Hide Flairs Show Flairs Hide Help Posts.Need help with a post? Have a question about a removal?
